About me

My name is Iryna Natalicheva. Born in the former capital city of the Bosporus kingdom, Kertch on Crimea, I grew up in former Sowjet Union. Although my mother tongue is Russian, my blood reflects the multicultural character of Crimea and more specifically my 2500 years old hometown.

After my secondary studies, during the Gorbatschow aera known as the “Glasnost and Perestroika” period in the Western world, which we, on Crimea, experienced as the “deficit time” I went through an education as a tailor, a profession I exerced in self employment for some years before studying law and moving to Moscow after the fall of the iron curtain.

Having meanwhile got married, moved to Munich and given birth to two boys, I studied stylism and modelism at the Munich branch of ESMOD fashion school. In 2013 I finished my studies and got awarded the famous “Aiguille d’Or” for my diploma collection “Kavkaz”. It marries traditional elements of the border region between European and Asian respectively Arabic cultures, the Caucasus, with a modern fashion language. On the following pages you will find impressions around this collection.

I am currently working on several new projects.
